This will also be fixed in the next standalone release.
-
This will only work if you are using Zotero 2.1, which supports CSL 1.0. This was not possible in the previous version of CSL. If you still have trouble, post the style to a site like http://gist.github.com and post a link here, so we can see what'…

To confirm, BibTeX.js:1558: var names = value.split(/ and /i); // now case insensitive Commas are already used for name suffixes and between first and last name.

Using Zotero with my Motorola Atrix running Firefox 3.6.13 under Android 2.2 Really? Not the same as running inside Mozilla Fennec on Android, but still a testament to the benefits of building off a cross-platform system like Mozilla's.

Please go here and save the file to the translators directory of your Zotero data directory (http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data). All TLC installations should start working again. If this works for you, please post here so that I can submit …

http://vanillaforums.org/addon/rolebadges-plugin-0.1 Looks very simple. The actual badges are specified and applied in CSS.
-
First sync can be slow for standard Firefox as well. Glad to hear this is working fine.
-
To continue Rintze's digression, Vanilla 2 would be nice to see. It's matured by now, and we could add other features like role tags for users.
-
The rewritten translator should be in the next release of Zotero. In the meantime, interested Reuters users should install from Github, as described above.
-
Your 'zotero' directory will likely contain several other files. These can include zotero.sqlite.bak (an automatic backup of zotero.sqlite, which is updated when you quit Firefox and the existing zotero.sqlite.bak file hasn't been updated in the las…

When I import this into Zotero, it works fine (although I fixed the spacing first, since the forum messed it up). Try downloading my fixed version of the record from https://github.com/ajlyon/zotero-bits/raw/master/tmp.ris and importing into Zotero.

I don't have a Mac to test it out, but I don't see how the Papers folks handle locators. I think that improved RTF scan and the wonderful Gnotero (with appropriate small changes) would be just as smooth as what Papers2 is offering. And maybe the wo…

Zotero's ISI translator doesn't yet support BIOSIS. This will require some new development, and I don't know when it will happen, nor how hard it would be.
-
The Reuters translator hadn't been touched in years, but I revived it. Please go to http://github.com/ajlyon/zotero-bits/raw/master/Reuters.js and save the file to the translators directory of your Zotero data directory (http://www.zotero.org/suppo…

OpenURL just isn't robust enough for this to work well. The best way to get metadata into Zotero right now is unAPI, but hopefully we'll get improved embedded RDF support out soon too.
-
This might get some of my attention soon unless the core devs warn me that it's about to be overhauled anyway. The code doesn't look too bad.
-
This pretty much is a feature request-- developers and whatnot read every post anyway.
-
Adamsmith is right about standalone-- but when you switch to Zotero 2.1, you can use it with Chrome as well. See http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/15905/connectors--zotero-in-firefox/ This combination will give you all the flexibility of Standalo…

The fixed version is now on Github, but see my note on 2.0.9 in the other thread if appropriate.
-
It's stable enough to switch, in my non-official opinion. The timeline for 2.1 final is the timeline for Firefox 4 final, which means very soon (since Zotero 2.0.9 doesn't work with Firefox 4). Zotero 2.1 is now a release candidate, which means that…

I tend to refer to the item using "Related" when I'm in a situation like this.
-
I've committed this to the repository. Since there are still ProQuest Legacy users out there (like me!) and this is a wholly distinct translator, I've renamed the old one to "ProQuest Legacy.js" and committed this one as "ProQuest.js". milliken-- Yo…

The main issue you're seeing is that the connectors don't yet support extracting DOIs from the page text, which is what you've been seeing in Wiley and I believe EBSCO. EBSCO's eJournals service isn't covered by the main EBSCO translator (iirc) and …
-
The other codes should now be dealt with. Try installing the version on Github again (linked to in the other thread); it now handles the XML entities that you are running into.
-
I wish I could tell you, but I don't know. I'm not a member of the core team, just a volunteer contributor and frequent user. Hopefully we'll get a rough estimate from the Zotero team some time, but nothing has been forthcoming.
-
I see what's happening. Sometimes picture is worth a dozen posts. Maybe this could be fixed by 2.1 final? Is this a fix that could be brought in from multilingual relatively easily?
-
This will hopefully be in the site overhaul that is supposed to be on its way.
-
You're right that this needs to be fixed. There's a bundle of site redesign, presumably including basic navigation like this, somewhere on the horizon, and I hope it's coming soon.
-
Sorry for the typo, and for accidentally dropping report support in a subsequent edit of the translator. This is now fixed on Github and in the Zotero trunk.
-
No, what's throwing me there is that the item is "Item Type: News", which I've been mapping to Newspaper Article. I'll stop mapping "Item Type" and use only "Source type", I suppose. The version on Github should work now.
