Not sure if this will fix it, but please go to http://github.com/ajlyon/zotero-bits/raw/master/Factiva.js and save the file to the translators directory of your Zotero data directory (http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data). Reload the Factiva p…

My guess is that if we can make a concise list of changes that certainly need to be made, then we can push it through. This will mean both CSL and Zotero changes, but it's worth working on. Community consensus here means something.

Great. I've committed it to the central repository.

Can you provide search terms or document titles? I can confirm that some items that are simply links to external newspaper sites don't work, and I don't know if we can make them work, but we need more info to determine what's going on in your case.

Please go to http://github.com/ajlyon/zotero-bits/raw/master/Library Catalog (Dynix).js and save the file to the translators directory of your Zotero data directory (http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data). Restart Firefox and it should start wo…

A new translator for IMDb shipped in Zotero 2.1.7. Please open a new thread with issues / questions if you run into any problems with it.

The new translator for IMDb shipped in Zotero 2.1.7. This thread can probably be closed-- if problems arise with the translator, open new threads for them. Hope the translator proves useful.

For completeness, I should note that if EndNote required the Byte Order Mark (which DWL-SDCA referred to), then that isn't an entirely unreasonable requirement. Zotero doesn't emit it, since it generally causes trouble, but you can try adding it you…

If the journal's requirements differ from Nature, see http://www.zotero.org/support/requesting_styles If the parent style simply isn't loading, update to Zotero 2.1.7, which is out now. In fact, update to it anyway, since a lot of small bugs are fi…

Sorry about that. Try again-- there was a mistake in the handling for conference papers.

Please provide the address of some pages in the library catalog that aren't working for you. We can't troubleshoot this if we don't know what pages you're trying to save. See also http://www.zotero.org/support/troubleshooting_translator_issues

There's now a knowledge base article on these translators: http://www.zotero.org/support/kb/default_translators

Please go to http://github.com/ajlyon/zotero-bits/raw/master/ACS Publications.js and save the file to the translators directory of your Zotero data directory (http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data). It should start working again. If this works …

Try downloading the translator again. It should cover everything you've noted thusfar.

Are there any other organizations like IEEE or IET that I should add to the logic before committing this?

I managed to install on top of multilingual (Ubuntu 11.04; Firefox 4.01, no special magic required), but the buttons seem perpetually disabled / grayed-out. Am I missing something? Also, I think you should be able to tap into Zotero's debug logger …

I wouldn't be surprised if Endnote has imperfect Unicode support. If when importing in UTF-8 (the correct way), only the "hyphen" (actually, an n-dash) is incorrect, just fix those manually by replacing them with regular hyphens (type them manually…

As you've likely guessed, this was a very basic hack-- it just swaps around the first comma in the title. I've put together another version that's more nuanced-- it only does the swap when the second chunk ends with "of", "IEEE", or "IET", and it sp…

There are a lot of improvements that haven't yet been pushed to all clients. Try the new version: Please go to http://github.com/ajlyon/zotero-bits/raw/master/IEEE Xplore.js and save the file to the translators directory of your Zotero data director…

Please put this through its paces and let me know what issues come up.

And you'll need to restart Firefox after adding the translator.

I gave this a try, using the API from imdbapi.com: Please go to http://github.com/ajlyon/zotero-bits/raw/master/IMDB.js and save the file to the translators directory of your Zotero data directory (http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data). It s…

If you'd like to follow the cryptic messages that indicate the progress being made, you can periodically take a look at https://www.zotero.org/trac/timeline -- there the site improvements are not visible, but they're logged (alongside the client and…

I've worked a little on this, but I'm having a mess of a time getting access to the RIS records in any efficient way. My mainly-broken code is at: http://github.com/ajlyon/zotero-bits/raw/master/Ovid.js It won't fix this, but it's a start-- it no…

Can you provide URLs of pages that show the second behavior? That'll make testing a bit easier.
