The COinS format uses the OpenURL types-- and there is no matching type for films or videos. The type list is here: http://alcme.oclc.org/openurl/servlet/OAIHandler?verb=ListRecords&metadataPrefix=oai_dc&set=Core:Metadata+Formats Hopefully…

Please provide the URLs of articles that trigger this error.

Glad to see this worked for you.

Yes, changing your password should prevent someone from syncing from your lost computer. There is no way to download your library except via a Zotero client, but it will be safe on the servers until you have a computer to reinstall on.

loki apparently tried both the trunk and the branch. Still, there's no call for mainstream users to be concerned about Fx5 compatibility-- a compatible version will certainly be released before the final release of Fx5.
-
If you're experimenting, try the branch XPI (http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/svn_and_trac_access#running_development_xpis) or, if that fails, the trunk XPI (same page). Just be careful to do this after making backups and so forth! If Zotero still…

I can imagine some nice workflows including zotero:// URLs for things in group libraries or in public user libraries-- Zotero could prompt to add the item from a public user library, or to subscribe to a group for a group library. A better option, t…

This is the right place. Thanks!

And what precisely is the cause of custom protocol handlers being caught by that message? Security Error: Content at http://gimranov.com/research/eduard/tmp.html may not load or link to zotero://select//0_ASDF1234. Is this not something that Zotero…

I don't know if anyone has tested Zotero with the Firefox 5 betas yet. If stability is important to you, don't upgrade. If you don't mind experimenting and risking instability, make backups of your Zotero data directory and try upgrading. Post your …

The underlying cause is described here: https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Debugging_a_XULRunner_Application And a possible fix is here: https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Chrome_Registration#contentaccessible Not sure if Zotero can be made to allow th…

On (2), chalk another one up to language-sensitive handling of citations...

Can you repost this to the zotero-dev list, and attach the proposed translator to your message? This is quite doable, but I want to make sure that other people using the MODS translator have a chance to chip in.
-
You'll want to use links like: zotero://select//0_ASDF1234 This has been discussed some: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/8306/testing-zoteroselect/ But note: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/17275/zoteroselect-urls-dont-always-select/ You c…

From http://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_installation_for_zotero_2.1 : The latest version of the Mac Word plugin for Zotero 2.1 is 3.1.2 (compatible with Word 2004, 2008, and 2011 and Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger or later). Firefox 4 compatib…

And I'm glad to hear Mark's advice helped. As for drag-and-drop, see http://www.zotero.org/support/reporting_bugs If you can, submit an error report as explained on that page. [Edit: Do what Dan says instead-- the error report is indeed unlikely …

Please read through these instructions: http://www.zotero.org/support/getting_stuff_into_your_library In particular, look here: http://www.zotero.org/support/getting_stuff_into_your_library#archive_web_pages You'll want to click on the "Create New…

I also agree. Makes me want to avoid touching group libraries.

This is now in the repository and should go out in the next version of Zotero, if Dan doesn't push it to clients before then.

I had apparently missed one of the URL patterns. This version should work: Please go to http://github.com/ajlyon/zotero-bits/raw/master/ProQuest 2.js and save the file to the translators directory of your Zotero data directory (http://www.zotero.or…

Mentioning Japanese and Cyrillic, I mean that we already should be planning on having the terms and possibly more in a citation depend on the language it's in. This isn't in CSL 1.0, and the discussion stalled at xbiblio, but it matters a lot for mu…

These clearly vary by language. CSL is going to need awareness of the language of a citation soon enough, since language-sensitive terms usage is not uncommon (certainly in Russian styles, I think in Japanese as well, and hard to imagine not being t…

No, it won't work for 2.0.9, since some of the translator options are expressed differently in 2.1.

Adding vertical-align to terms doesn't address Gracile's need for French terms: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/15085/1/french-localization-csl-10/#Item_35 no nos Not sure the best way to proceed, but this is the way the styles require it.
-
Superscripted terms are a perfectly reasonable need-- superscripts may be relatively uncommon and unimportant in American styles, but Gracile has provided many examples of why they matter for French styles-- this is a reasonable and common case that…

You may have to restart Firefox after swapping in the new file in order for Zotero to detect that the filename is different.
