ed.podesta: Can you submit an error report for a failed save attempt? Go to report errors in the gear menu, and post the report ID here. You can post the error text here as well, if you'd like.

But in a paged environment, as Word/OO often is, for a person who expects ibid to be page-bound, the presence of ibid there is unexpected, and maybe even unpleasant for someone who is well-accustomed to such a style. Ibid sometimes has to do with pa…

This is an important and good idea, and I have some ideas of how it could be done. See http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/18969 -- this is the same basic issue, and it's on my short-list of things to improve in Zotero. Batch editing, which has als…

I've just added this to the CSL schema issue tracker, to keep in mind for the longer term: https://github.com/citation-style-language/schema/issues/68

Ok. I have something working, although it still is a little buggy (it saves all of the references in the current search). Please go to http://github.com/ajlyon/translators/raw/master/ISI Web of Knowledge.js and save the file to the translators dire…

They don't work for me either now (although they did not long ago!). That's pretty frustrating. I'll take another look and see what I can do.

Recently posted again at: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/19008/ Since it worked well to get COinS re-added after they disappeared last month, I appealed via Twitter: http://twitter.com/#!/ajlyon/status/99128889007276032

Thanks.

It sounds like perhaps your proxy settings need to be checked. Can you post the host and scheme for your proxy, from the Proxies tab of the Zotero preferences?

(1) is intentional. The only way I can easily guarantee that the snapshot won't have the embedded PDF and certainly will have the basic bibliographic data and abstract is to do it this way. (2) sounds bad, but I'm concerned it might be connected to…

The current way to do so is to click on "Save to Endnote", then open the resulting file in something like Notepad, copy the contents (Ctrl-C) and select Import from Clipboard in Zotero. But I just submitted a patch to make Zotero intercept the ISI…

The templates are created by an export translator, so it would be possible to export the notes. See the translator documentation (http://www.zotero.org/support/dev/translators) and the section on export translators in particular (http://www.zotero.o…

Выше в этом же обсуждении, я то же объяснил Валерию.

Как раз и хорошо, что там курсив заменен тэгами-- так курсив будет изображаться правильно и в ссылках, составленные с помощью Zotero и его расширений для Word и OpenOffice. За то в библиотеке некрасиво выглядит-- но 100%-ного решения пока нету.

Oh -- the translator thing was my weak attempt at a pun in Czech. Apparently my Czech is a little rustier than I thought -- I was at Charles University last summer, but haven't had much practice since. I've posted an updated version to GitHub that …

But event place should be on its way for more types-- and for unpublished things (manuscript), the one date that exists would likely be considered to be event-place.

Please go to http://github.com/ajlyon/translators/raw/master/ProQuest.js and save the file to the translators directory of your Zotero data directory (http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data). I've changed the snapshot to grab the abstract instea…

Сделано. Можете скачать новую версию с http://github.com/ajlyon/translators/raw/master/eLibrary.ru.js и сохранить ее в папке данных Zotero (http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data). Обновите страницу и все сработает.

When the next version of MacWord integration comes out, just install it from Zotero.org. It will replace the trunk release. Trunk just means the latest development code-- presumably Simon made some changes to cover users with a setup like yours. In…

Please go to http://github.com/ajlyon/translators/raw/master/EBSCOhost.js and save the file to the translators directory of your Zotero data directory (http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data). This version should work with all the permalinks giv…

Please post this to http://groups.google.com/group/zotero-dev -- we try to keep developer/development-specific discussion to that forum. Also take a look at the Zotero trunk in SVN (http://www.zotero.org/spport/dev/svn_and_trac_access) to see how y…

The double date issue is fixed in the latest version of the EBSCO translator (posted Aug 1 16:11:49 2011 +0400). Install again from Github -- go to http://github.com/ajlyon/translators/raw/master/EBSCOhost.js and save the file to the translators dir…

I don't really use Amazon much, and I'm not seeing this. Can you try to diagnose it, Sebastian, if you see it? That or provide a reliable way to reproduce -- I can't fix what I can't see.

http://www.zotero.org/support/kb/transferring_a_library Do NOT use export and import, because item linkages will, as you have found, be completely broken. Syncing is usually the easiest way.

1. (Conference) Proceedings What precisely do you need in such a type that you don't have in the type "Book"? Please provide an example citation of proceedings as a whole. Personally, I've found "Book" to work rather well, and I just use relations i…

Can you provide examples of how the key and instrumentation are used in citation?

The EBSCO issue is apparently that the data it needs isn't available on all pages. Quoting the EBSCO developer:It is not an architecture change. Following a persistent link to the site without scope=site on the persistent link query string will resu…

For the sake of completeness, it would be nice to have a listing for Zotero's document type-- that guide is the only field list regularly available (although similar data can be requested from the server API).

Please go to http://github.com/ajlyon/translators/raw/master/ProQuest.js and save the file to the translators directory of your Zotero data directory (http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data). The attachments should start working again. The choi…

The saving issue is affecting me too. Hopefully the EBSCO developers will have an answer soon.
