Although I appreciate the 'multiple source' feature of Zotero, I do think there is a (more limited) case for merging citations. Apart from the case where the author doesn't realise that the 'multiple source' functionality is there (necessitating a l…

Yep, it works now. Doesn't seem to be the result of my input, but I'm happy it's back! Thanks again to the Zotero folk.

I'd agree with en-dashes in page number ranges, too, as a default. At the moment, I do what I did with Endnote - clean it up at the end using Word's find and replace feature. Which is fine, but my life would be a smidgen easier this way!

Thanks - I did as suggested and some of the item types did differ. As a result, I was able to pinpoint that in the 'source' macro, some of these items asked for a locator and others didn't, so I was able to fix the problem. Thanks a lot for all your…

Thanks all! What an incredibly quick response! I obviously wasn't looking hard enough. I have fixed the problem with report types now, but I still can't figure out why the first citation doesn't show the page number I insert into the dialog box. I h…

Thanks ajlyon, but I was actually looking for the field that matches the 'Report Type' field rather than as an item type. The guide you point me to seems only to refer to item types, rather than the fields within the item types.

Thank you ever so much for this! It's really fantastic to have this style. There are two slight issues for me that I'm wondering if I can get some help on. I've made some slight edits to suit my preferences using the 'common edits', but these ones I…

Thanks for the comment. I will forward the comment on, but my guess is that the person I'm corresponding with isn't the technical person I need to speak to ... it's so frustrating to hear that they've modified the installation in order to break Zot…

The response from the library was unhelpful. They responded with: "The library has decided not to continue with Zotero support as EndNote is the primary records export software." I will just use WorldCat from now on.

Thanks ajlyon. This is frustrating! I have contacted the university and will report back.

Sorry, I'm not quite sure I understand when you ask where they export this in Endnote. To be clear: My Zotero reference, when exported to Endnote, doesn't retain the accessed date in the Refer/BibIX export file (txt) when exported. In Endnote, …

Hi - just wondering, I have the same problem with Refer/BibIX. When I export from Endnote, the access date is tagged %N. But the access date doesn't appear in the text version when I export from Zotero. Any possibility that this could be fixed?

I agree with Samden. For some reason when I export to Endnote, the organisation names always have a comma inserted after the second last part of the name. I have to go in and change these manually - which isn't a big deal but annoying over time! Has…

Thanks for the comments. I have looked at the Endnote import filters now, which has been helpful, but the field Reporter does not appear in either. As a workaround I have been using putting reporter titles into Reporter Volume as well, which solves …

Hi Grant - I have the same problem probably with the AustLII translator. Can you send me the .js file too and then what do I do with it - install it somewhere? By the way, thanks for all the hard work - it's greatly appreciated. Thank…
