Ok, I've fixed it now. Don't know what the problem was but complete reinstall of ff and zotero did the trick.

Any progress on what's causing my sync problem? Ian
-
Thanks Dan, I've done that.

Thanks Dan. I tried but when I click submit I get: "The server returned an error. Please try again." Trying again several times did not help.

Nothing's working, and I just got 53 synch conflicts twice in five minutes. Error report ID: 16473100 and 1033369684 ??

Actually, now when I click the red alert icon I get "Conflicts have suspended automatic syncing. Click the sync icon to resolve them." And then a couple of minutes later 52 synch resolutions came up and an error ID. 198873011

Thanks Dan. I realise now the problem has changed - I don't get conflict repeats but it's perpetually synching and the red alert is often there. When I click the red alert it just starts synching again.

Thanks for the suggestion fbennett - makes sense but I tried it and unfortunately it didn't work in this case.

Still getting the same problem a week later. Any thoughts on this Zotero staff?

I'm getting the same message, repeatedly. I tried a full sync through Zotero prefs but still get the same. Sometimes when it's trying it complains about a particular reference which I have now deleted but which it still keeps complaining about.…

Thanks Dan. Installing via the add-ons site did it.

Uninstalled and re-installed Zotero, which seems to have done the job.

I have just started getting this error too. It began after I changed my account details in zotero preferences. When I click https://sync.zotero.org I get "Nothing to see here."
