I confirm it is reproducible. But you have to do it in the right order: uncheck first and disable firewall second.

I did again what I had done before and this time it worked: - uncheck the grayed "read only" for all Zotero files - disable firewall (Kasperky Internet Security 11) We'll see if I can reproduce that or not.
