Good news, it seems it's working again, regardless of useGoogleDocsAPI true or false! A Google problem after all! Thanks for the support!
-
I see! And, yes, V2, e.g., does not correctly adjust citation fields to the font style and size of the paragraph it is embedded in (though it seems to work fine in tables in this respect). This did not occur with V1.

`useGoogleDocsAPI` flag is running in the same error (no unlock needed, however) but then miracolously resolves by generating the bibliography. I start wondering if the error message is just a timeout server issue and then the server continues to co…

"At the start of a Zotero command we set a flag that the document is being worked on, and then unset after the command is finished." Is there any manual way to tweak with this? In MS Word I know where these flags are nested but no clue for GDocs
-
(In case there's not much you can do at this time, I will have to unlink all citations manually and restore and refine the bibliography from an older PDF export)...Is there a script to unlink if the built-in Zotero function isn't working neither. I …

My guess (but I'm not someone to tell) is that the Zotero Access token or uauth is not handled correctly from within GoogleDocs. GDoc thinks there is someone else doing work in the document, maybe the Z integration is seen as a user. Against this h…

@adomasven : plausible! I mostly get sync errors from within Google Docs with the faulty document (and its clones) but not with other documents @adamsmith: changing style prompts the same "multiple users" warning and then fails again. Btw, I though…

also, revoking access/edit permissions for Zotero in Google Account didn't helpt
-
also, OS reboot did not do the trick

and, no one else is editing the document. The error(s) remain when the document is cloned (and hence as different permissions and another ID)
-
I have also restored older versions from within Google Docs -- no success, update error remains (which might point to a non-internal issue)

Thanks for clarification @DWL-SDCA. I am, of course, aware of what WC is and what it is not. The issue of heterogenous metadata and metadata quality is something I am aware of. I work a lot with bibliometry, and track down copies of editions worldw…

I used this all the time, and the mass import (folder icon) stopped working a while ago. But it's back, as it seems. Wonderful. Thanks @bjuhl. The quality of the ingest of single items from WC is another issue. Book series, e.g., seem to ignore the…

"Zotero connectors work with results lists now" Not on my machine, e.g. https://www.worldcat.org/de/search?q=ti:cursus+theologic*&datePublished=1545-1790&itemType=book&limit=10&offset=1&orderBy=publicationDat…

Yes, only with this style (I haven't modified other styles' layout delimiter however. No, with any Google Document (in MS Word, this issue does not show). Yes, any item I cite (I think), but only in the subsequent shortened citation.
-
The problem is solved if is changed to It's odd, because I dont wan't any delimiter suffix
-
&format=keys seems to give a correct list of the keys (but only those)
-
See yourself: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vQoQJOJuNdUkDgKKClOYM3_goWTylLY7dYGLal5py5wrPKdxfx3NblatFgop19tpms1ajVwqjlOUkXu/pubhtml?gid=665507470&single=true It will change the keys after a refresh (at least on my machine)
-
Ah, "/top" made it in fact 100! But the "key" column keeps changing and is not identical to the CSV export via Client (but needs to be for my workflow)
-
Not sure, what "/top" is, but my cell in the Google Sheet is =IMPORTDATA("https://api.zotero.org/groups/2536132/items?key=***&format=csv&limit=100")
-
Very strange, I get only the header row plus 91 data rows...the library has 216 items currently, so it should at least show 100. As for the key, I was not talking about the API key, but about the first column ("Key"), the unique identifier. Those k…
-
And &limit=100 will create 92 rows...I would need 250...
-
If I use https://api.zotero.org/groups/2536132/items?key=...&format=csv I get only the first 24 results and the unique keys change after every refresh...
-
Use case: ingesting Zotero library into Google Sheet via IMPORTDATA
-
I mean with a key -- public one is obvious.
-
Ah, great, thnx. Didn't check this out properly. How then would a link to a CSV look like? Can you post a template? Sorry, I should figure out this myself but I assume you've generated one in a heartbeat!

Thanks!

there is at least one more issue: some characters are not processed correctly, see the editors' names, e.g., for this item: http://www.worldcat.org/oclc/1001708153
