• thanks. it works fine with new doc. but i was wondering is there any way of fixing my 46 refs doc.? i have window 7 home premium . i assume you mean by copy and past the doc the refs of the paste doc. automatically will change. am i correct?

• Thanks Adam, i should add before every time i was going to add a new ref when i click add-ins and then insert citation i had to choose classic view but now it is directory goes to my library. i thought it might help to resolve the problem!

• ok i have the document with 46 ref. now i wrote the new paragraph and tried to add the new ref. but it did not recognize the old references and start from no. 1 again.

• the link between my document and my zotero seems not working . i have add-in in my word doc. but when i am inserting the new citation it was started with no 1 again. i am wondering if anybody can help me please. thank Mary
