I left the sync on because I annotate documents on two different computers. If I disable syncing what I do on a computer stays there and is not transferred to the second Zotero installation.

Sorry, symlinked to OwnCloud. Owncloud is configured to only host virtual files. As the files were indeed downloaded, I thought it was due to Zotero accessing the files, thus forcing Owncloud to download the content.

Any news on this? On my MacBook Air M1 with 8GB of RAM, right after the system boot, Zotero uses almost 1GB of RAM without any PDF file open.

Hello, I have the same problem as the OP. Where do I find BBT -> Refresh? Using BBT 6.7.42 in Zotero 6.0.18 on Windows.
