Thanks again. The response from Zotero programmers is admirable. Keep up the good work, and I'll look forward to more updates to address these little bugs.

Another bug, that seems to be related (perhaps). In this same document, I've continued inserting citations (and checking the growing bibliography). In attempting to refresh all Zotero fields in the document, I got an error that Zotero was unable …

Glad to. Running: Firefox 4.0, Zotero 2.1.2, Word 2007 1. I opened a new Word document and in the first paragraph, I inserted one citation. 2. I created a section page break to create a Reference page. There, I inserted a Zotero bibliography (APA…

OK. I updated to 2.1.2 and re-installed the Word integration add-on just in case. But the reference list still comes out without any italics. As I created this new, fresh document, I inserted up to 4 or 5 citations and the reference list worked wel…

OK. Will do. Thanks for your response.

Now even the new, fresh document is not working correctly. The italics are missing from the references that I inserted at the end.

Thanks for the response. I double checked this installation. In a new document, the references print correctly. But in my existing document, the italics don't appear. It seems to be a problem with the upgrade of the document, not with the style cs…

Hello Adamsmith: I've recently upgraded to Firefox 4 and Zotero 2.1.1 My references in APA v6 format no longer show with titles in italics (journal names, book names, etc.) After my software updating, I began working on an existing document and w…

Here's another call out for any news on the estimated time for expanded storage availability. Any developments?

Just upgraded (since I couldn't sync) to v. 2.0b7.5 (running Windows XP). I get error "Empty response from server," # 2134849240 What are the usual fixes that people have mentioned here?

Same issue here. After inserting one citation, then coming back to edit it and add multiple, the sorting option is gone. I have to delete whole citation and re-do it from scratch. I'm using APA style with MS Word. Zotero 2.x

Correct. The period goes after the repository, but not the number. Even though it's in parentheses, I guess they think of it as a doi or url kind of thing. I agree that APA is really out there. If I could, I'd switch styles, but this is the one in…

The three examples for dissertations/theses in that webpage are exactly correct, according to the APA manual. (There are a couple more options, for those should cover most citation needs). And you're right: when I say "prepend" the lead-in text is …

Regarding the sorting, maybe there is a bug or something in my field entries (However, I've double checked the author field, and they are all identical-no stray characters). On the one hand, one portion sorts correctly. The other doesn't. Here is …

The thesis/dissertation type works great! Thanks. 1. A couple of details: In the Repository field, could it not prepend the text? I'd like to simply type in that field and WWSIWYG, since the phrasing might change. 2. The Loc. in Archive field nee…

Cool. I'll test it this morning. Re: sorting: I realize I wasn't clear. The challenge with sorting is that Zotero currently sorts things in descending order, from more recent dates to earliest dates, whereas APA v6 manual is asking for ascending or…

@adam. Thanks. Here's another to add to the request: APA 6th (I don't know if this has changed) specifies that works by the same author should be ordered with earliest one first. So that makes it count for in the in-text citation too. (APA 6th ed…

Here's one more curious find: -Doesn't handle "in press" for the date. For an entry of a report, at least, the automatic citation and reference page skips over the date field completely. Is there alreay a way to handle this? BTW: just to be sure, …

@adamsmith Thanks for monitoring this. Here are the four APA 6th edition issues I've noted, gathered from elsewhere in the forum: ***********Regarding citation for reports in APA 6th ed.:************ Title of report should be italicized, with a pa…

I found this thread with the request for a way to show report numbers (it comes in romanized font inside parantheses, right after the italicized title, without a delimiter in between.) But I didn't see a follow up. I posted a separate thread on it r…

Also, APA 6th ed. calls for no periods at the end of a website citation. Zotero is ending this field with a period too: Incorrect: Student Financial Aid. (2009, September 29). Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Retrieved September 26, 2009, f…
