humbly asking: any updates on this possible fix?
-
Oxford Academic no longer compatible with Zotero's multiple item import feature. Can this compatibility be restored?
-
Is there still interest in resolving this incompatibility?
-
Thanks for your help. Any updates?
-
And here is that Debug ID for information now the issue is resolved: D1814223424
-
Update: You were right!! After letting it run for appx. 45 minutes, the entire library reappeared. Thanks so much for your help.
-
The longest I've left it "Loading items..." is about 8 minutes. --I'm guessing the Debug report did not flag up any issues? --How long would it have to run "Loading items..." before you would suspect a more technical issue?

Yes: D1481175738

Note: 1. My entire library is still visible online in the Zotero 'Web Library' 2. I use the virtual machine 'Parallels Desktop' 3. Right before the OS upgrade, I deleted a huge number of pdfs from my Zotero 'Trash' folder

The last mentioned issue with edited-volumes was resolved. Thank you. But the system does not yet support OUP Very Short Introductions, eg: https://academic.oup.com/book/35482?searchresult=1 Can this be resolved?
-
The system does not yet support all OUP books, eg: https://academic.oup.com/edited-volume/28005 Can this be resolved?
-
This ability to download from multiple tabs would be helpful for downloading multiple chapters from OUP academic ebooks, eg: https://academic.oup.com/book/26783?searchresult=1 Is this now possible with Zotero?

Two problems with this: 1. The first footnoted citation of Newman's book will read: John Henry [Newman], full-title, p#. --- which is incorrect. The correct reading is: [John Henry Newman], full-title, p# -------------------------------- 2. The…
-
But how can we set things up so that all the subsequent *short-title references have *two brackets around the author's last name only: [Newman], short-title, p.# ...instead of... [Newman, John Henry], short-title, p.# or [John Henry Newman], shor…

@AbeJellinek yes, I am referring to cases when the folder icon appears, allowing me to extract metadata for multiple listed ProQuest documents. At present, all search terms I am using fail. @adamsmith you may be right. However, I have noticed that,…

Yes, Zotero is saving just fine from each ProQuest EEBO 'Details' page taken one at a time. But sadly I'm increasingly finding that Zotero cannot extract metadata for multiple ProQuest EEBO documents at once. Any solutions to this latter issue?
-
Here are examples of works which I attempted to save one at a time, along with their URLS (I replaced the ID number with hashtags): Saved webpage title: "Ethices Commendium, in Usum Academicæ Juventutis Authore Daniele Whitby ... - Proquest" Saved…

Thanks for this fix!

Any updates on the resolution of this issue with Zotero?
-
Can Zotero now automatically add the volume number before the page number when citing the short titles for a specific volume?
-
Ok thanks. I've also learned that if you type any random character (e.g. 'x') in the 'Language' field of your Zotero Library, titles will then be cited exactly as they appear in your Zotero Library.

Looks like this important issue has been resolved: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/28952/italicizing-a-term-s-in-a-journal-article-book-chapter-title

This is great news! I really appreciate your proactiveness. FYI I'm not sure if this is just a coincidence or if the fix for the PQ EEBO passed the review since your last post, but the extraction of the PQ EEBO metadata appears to already be working…
