Hi bwiernik, thanks for the tip. Saved searches wouldn't work since not all papers in the folder can be found using the same search criteria. Let me try to explain this better. If I were trying to order my PDFs on my computer, categories would inva…

Hi Adam, You were spot on. I've repeated the procedure today and it works just fine. So, your suggestion that it's a problem with the NCBI's server was correct. Not a problem with Zotero. All the best

I also experienced disappearing highlights for one of my library items. Then, without any changes to zotero it worked again for another item. I found out that whether highlights are properly saved depends on the web site. In my 2 test cases a snap…

I'd also like to see the highlighting of tags that are associated with the selected library item. In fact, for zotero users who use the ALT click method to determine to which folders a library item has been sorted, this would be the intuitive soluti…

Thanks, Dan, for pointing that out. After your tip, I was able to track the problem to the Classic Compact Theme for Firefox. The highlighting is now much better in the standard FF theme.

My vote also for the zotero in a tab feature. Hasn't happen yet, despite Dan's note at the very top of the thread? The new window is indeed a very good workaround, except that I find multiple tabs easier to handle than multiple windows, especiall…

I would favour a rating system that is minimal and visual. library item 1 library item 2 library item 3 library item 4 library item 5 In this way, I could highlight only the best publication in a folder with many items for easier retrieval later …

I, for one, would like to see it. And somebody with the time to improve it could get it easily. So, I think it would be worth it.

It looks like the Trends series journals use the same style. I just looked at TIP and TEM and found no differences. The reference examples are the same in the two guideline PDFs[1]. It also seems to be the same for review/opinion/etc. If this i…

It looks like the Trend Series from Cell Press uses the same citation style (http://www.cell.com/cellpress/trends). In this case the Trends in Parasitology style (http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/10437/new-csl-trends-in-parasitology/) could be us…

Thanks for the tip. That works.

Great. I just overlooked the little icon at the URL bar and was searching around the lower zotero window from where this functionality cannot be accessed. Thanks.
