OK, many thanks for the response! Martin

Hello everybody: this is just a follow-up to enquire whether anybody has any thoughts on my query above, as it remains pertinent. With thanks, Martin

A problem with Cambridge Univeristy Press (CUP) journals that has occurred in the past now appears to be reoccuring. The translator downloads the citations but not PDFs. This issue of the journal (http://journals.cambridge.org/action/displayIssue?de…

Hi Sebastian Well done and thank you - works fine! Yours, Martino
-
Sebastian: Please note that I have tried the above ppa with Ubuntu 12.10 and it doesn't seem to work for some reason - just thought you would like to know! Yours, Martino
-
Thank you for the response. I look forward to seeing whether this may appear in a future release. Martin

I am using LibreOffice 3.5.2.2 and Ubuntu 12.04 beta 2, and have this problem
-
Many thanks Sebastian - works well on Ubuntu 11.10 (I also prefer the Aa icon (the Z icon of Zotero is rather ugly). Best, Martin

I did originally make the suggestion on the kde forums, as indicated above, but Calligra would be the place now. Once you make the suggestion could you please post the link here? Thanks!
-
Indeed they are - thank you again! Martin

I have just noticed that the Abstract field is not being imported from the CUP web site. Does this lie within your remit, here, ajlyon, or should I report it elsewhere? With thanks, Martin

This now works great, thank you! I have tried it when not logged in (on the Free Jan 2011 issue) and when logged in with my subscription (on a couple of issues). All items added and PDFs downloaded! Again, a big thank you. Martin
-
Many thanks for this. I have tested it: References are saved but not the PDFs. If you want to check this for yourself you can go to the January 2011 issue (Volume 45 Issue 1), which is free to read and thus the PDFs are freely available to all (htt…

Many thanks and I will wait for further news.

Just to let you know: With Chrome and Standalone 2.1a3, which I have just installed, on Ubuntu, clicking the folder icon in the address bar at, for example, http://journals.cambridge.org/action/displayIssue?jid=ORX&tab=currentissue, now produces…

ajlyon you state Standalone 2.1b5+ but I am only aware of 2.1a2
-
Many thanks and WRT 2a you are correct - very useful to know - if I click on the Current Issue button the same articles are there but now I see the folder icon. As I was on the case I checked out the PDF import (I have full access to the CUP j…

I have done some experimentation, herewith: 1a) If I go to a single article at CUP (http://journals.cambridge.org/action/displayAbstract?fromPage=online&aid=8023724&fulltextType=ED&fileId=S0030605310001663) I see the little page ico…

I am just commenting on my own post here - to ask whether anybody is aware of this problem. With thanks, Martin

With apologies - I see this topic was covered earlier (and I commented!) but I still can't figure out how to use it successfully in Linux. Martin
-
adamsmith - could you kindly explain the concept of a smart folder and how I could use/set this (I use Linux) to store my PDFs? With thanks, Martin
-
mronkko - A great idea thank you, and I will look into this. Adamsmith - thanks for the comment and it is great to know that it is being considered. Best, Martin

Many thanks - I use Kubuntu, and in its file manager, Dolphin, and I do not see any obvious way to do this. I've just spent an hour trying to figure it out but to no avail. But thanks anyway - I think this points to the utility of my original reques…

Thank you - this sounds like it is a possibility, although in Linux I don't see an obvious way of doing this. I can save a search as an html file but this is not particularly useful. But thanks anyway.

I meant 'my post', obviously...

For completeness, my most on the KOffice forum is at http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=96&t=82972#p133693

Thank you, most interesting - it's good to know that this is already being thought about.

Does anybody know anything more about this? There is a known issue on this but it appears to be for 1.0.9
