> Does your database pass the integrity check in the Advanced pane of the Zotero prefs? It did not. I repaired it using the online tool and now I cannot reproduce the error. Thanks for your help!

I upgraded to 3.0.11 (manually, I have no idea why the automatioc updates kept me at 3.0.8), but the problem is still there. The Debug ID is D437738604.

Those warnings are about pdfinfo-Win32.exe and seem to occur only when the zotero files are stored on a mapped network drive. They are described in http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/8084/. Today, I could not reproduce the problem as I could t…

I found another PDF with which I can reproduce the same problem. I also found out than when I add the PDF not be dragging, but by choosing "attach file" in Zotero, it is attached (other than with the dragging method), but Zotero produces an err…

Another way, which I have just used to create a publications-by-year statistic, is to export to BibTeX, import in JabRef, export from there as Microsoft Office XML, import in Excel.

I tried different items in Zotero - same problem. I tried different PDF files - no problem except for the one. I can open it without any problem in other applications.

Hello, I know this an old thread, but I just encountered the same problem (Windows 7 x64, Firefox 12.0, Zotero 3.0.3) and did not find any other thread that fits. My files are on mapped network drive U:. Adding "u:\" to the the internet op…

"Abtretungsempfänger" sounds good to me too and is even clearer than "Begünstigter".

OK. That is translated as "Beauftrager" in the German version and I was never really sure what it was supposed to mean. I am not a patent expert, but I im not sure if this really the right translation. In most cases I know, the assignee is the compa…

Thanks. I decided to return to the old format because it is used by others in my working group. Changing the format actually was simpler I though, I just had to change line 58 in BibTeX.js to var citeKeyFormat = "%a_%y_%t";

Thanks for the quick reply. So I can now change my references accordingly and know they are future-proof.

Hi, this is just to let you know that I am experiencing the (seemingly) same problem. I have it both at work (Windows XP, Firefox 4) and at home (Windows 7, Firefox 4), sharing the same synched database. I do not have many extensions installed …

OK, I understood that. Probably it would be the beser to have an "entity" field in Zotero, allowing users to specify their own entities, using their preferred transcribtion of the characters in question.

I clicked "Reset Translators and Styles" about two hours ago, I was expecting that to give me the current version of the translator. Your guess about the strange characters was right - I get "ü" as desired when I set Firefox to UTF-8. Thanks fo…

Hi, I still have problems exporting items with non-Latin or "enhanced Latin" characters to BibTeX. There are currently two items that cause them. An article by N. Agraït results in this. Note the "ï" being dropped in the key and being repl…

Hi, > Now fixed on the branch (for 1.0.8 and beyond) as well. Where can I find 1.0.8 or any 1.0 version beyond that one? The only versions I can find are 1.0.7 and the 1.5 preview. Thanks for your help.

Disabling all other extensions (DownThemAll! and Split Browser) did the job. I will now keep them deactivated as long as I do not need them. Thanks again for your help, Dan. mmmh

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, the error console does not show any messages when I try to open the Zotero pane. I have tried to deactivate Zotero and Scaffold and activate Zotero again after a restart, but that did not help either. D…
