In the annotation sidebar, imported annotations (=highlights) show as a slightly paler yellow than the yellow of highlights made within Zotero. But on the page, there was no discernible highlight at all after importing until I changed the colour. …

Haha, not really. ESC for me signals I'm somewhere I don't want to be, more like cancelling an operation than completing it. That said, if it's disruptive to others to change this, I certainly wouldn't insist.

Another question: if I click on a bookmark/document outline entry in the left pane, only the original pane will navigate to it, even if I'm sure the second pane is active (by highlighting a word). It would be nice to be able to navigate to bookmarks…

Update: I disabled the 'Night for Zotero' add on and restarted and that fixed the issue. I'll notify therewards.

Indenting is weird in other respects too. If I have the cursor at the beginning of an annotation in the note, tab won't indent, but if cursor is at the end of the annotation (either before or after the citation), tab will indent.
