What are the plans for webdav support for the attachments in ZotPad? I managed to compile and install the current version of the source code and when I got no pdfs displayed I realized it's probably because all my attachments are stored on webdav. :…

Seems like the fils-sync-setting somehow had reverted to "Zotero" instead of WebDAV. I did set it to WebDAV and I confirmed the server etc but when I checked recently it was set to Zotero and when I switched it back to WebDAV everything seemed to wo…

Ahhhh! Yes, that seems like a likely cause. I'll check into that - thanks!

Ok, that makes some sense... I'm pretty sure I had it waiting considerably more than 3 hours yesterday though... And earlier today as well... But I'll try leaving it on over night then...

@adamsmith True, "show file" is only one click more I guess, but it's a quite a bit more moving of the mouse and you open an extra window - I really don't like that option. The launchNonNativeFiles works perfectly for what I want right now though …

Maybe you need to clarify? What do you mean with "previewing" in "another pane"? How is it different from viewing the pdfs in the normal way? I would like to be able to specify another way of opening files from Zotero than from Firefox in gener…

After a "Restore to Zotero server" it now works fine...

Still, it would be nice to also be able to see it in a generated report, for instance. Or a tab like the existing ones to the right. The existing method is a little hard to overview if you have a large collection structure with the same paper often …

Sorry, guess this should have gone in the 2.0 Beta category... This error was with 2.0b5

I would also like to have a constant and compact ID for each reference in the database... I use the number you get when generating report in some contexts now (eg 16638 in zotero://report/items/16638/html/report.html) but I don't know it that is a s…

You can do the same using the web-interface to the synced server-side database if you're using syncing. Details here : http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/2628/tiddlywiki-as-a-zotero-database-presentation-layer/#Comment_22612

This works if you have synced the database to the server: +++[Report from Zotero web]... IFrames are not supported by your browser. === I.e., same approach as above with another url...

Report ID 699259320 I got "an error occurred while communicating with Zotero. Please ensure Zotero is switched on and try again" in Word with the 1.0b3 plugin and Zotero 1.5-sync2.2 ... Communication seems to be working but I get the error…

Ok... I saw you mentioning elsewhere in this forum that "There will be web-based ways to access data stored on the server"... I hope this means that we could have some way to link to/integrate Zotero-data into other online setups? Something lik…

I used zotero://report/ urls to integrate Zotero references into tiddlywiki as described here: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/2628/tiddlywiki-as-a-zotero-database-presentation-layer/#Item_3

I'd really like to see a nice integration of these two! For the moment I use tiddlywiki-templates, iframes and zoter://report/ urls to at least get a connection from what I'm writing in tiddly to my references in Zotero. I thought I'd mentioned thi…
