This is a link for an oa journal, and the connector has the webpage icon instead of the yellow folder one: https://browzine.com/libraries/3631/journals/326170/issues/506239037?sort=title

Hello again, I need pointers for a few more strings, they're from the latest file added 'connector.json': Saving 1$1 items. 2$2 Key: progressWindow_savingItems (I cannot figure ouot the 2$2 variable) Target collection selector key: progressWindow_…

@dstillman: But that's not fully translated — only "Open" was translated. That will show, for example, "Apri PDF in New Window". Oooops. Thanks for checking, I left it behind because I wanted to check a couple things for consistency, but then I forg…

Thank you @adamsmith ! Going on with the translation, I've found a string that needs an update: section-related\.label doesn't have the multiple choices in transifex for 1, many, other like notes, attachments, etc. but does need it for other langua…

Thank you @dstillman, I've already started working on the new translations. I'm seeing a few strings with functions in it, I'll open a new thread because I need a few hints on how to work with them, and I think they could help also others
-
If you can install/run the program, everything will work (browser extension are already profile-specific)
-
That's good news! @Roberto_Ronconi as soon as the new strings are available for translation, I'll work on them, if I have sufficient time before release (I work on in on my free time), all we be translated on the stable version. Also, being on the …

I've been using the new UI since it's came out and it's really great, faster, smoother, easier access to information. Really good job! Going ahead, and thinking to the switch to stable, @dstillman, I have a suggestion (if you already have not thoug…

@Aporias thank you, I didn't notice that option (I've looked mostly everywhere but there lol... that's a signal I should rest!)
-
Huge update! We'll certainly enjoy it, since it's awesome. One thing I may suggest to add (I know, I know, it's so new and I'm already here with demands XD): the capability to toggle off the dark theme just for the pdf (documents) reader, since it…

Sorry for the message then, I missed the issue on github. That's good to know that you're going to drop the feature, I have a huge course upcoming, so I'm gonna remove it from the course's topics. Too bad I liked it, let's hope someone does a plugin…
-
@dstillman have you seen this? not that I want to hurry or anything, just making sure the bug doesn't go unnoticed :)
-
@haley_hi i order to enjoy all the benefits added by jurism, you should also use one of the jurism enhanced styles, which actively pull information from the additional fields (they usually have the name starting with JM), look into the site mentione…

Tried again today and it's working. I'm posting to let anyone else interested know.

@ben_a Actually if you ask your IT tech to uninstall Zotero, you could then install Zotero as a normal user, without admin privileges [when it the UAC prompt pops up, just click no/cancel, and then proceed with the installation]. Doing so, it will …

That's awesome news, but it still doesn't work here, here's my output: D1180386232

Amazing news! Thank you for the update

It seems that Scopus finally updated its search engine to the new version, making it default. At the moment, the translator is not longer working in the search result screen (it tries to save the web page, not the folder where you can choose the ele…

I'm not sure I've understood the question, since if you're seeing the item to use the CTRL key, then you can already work on the item. But, anyway, if you have too many items in a collection, that's where the search button comes to your help, or may…

amazing news! I've just started using and it feels a lot faster and smoother. Nice job! There's a few news to be ported in transifex for translation (like "capitalize" for authors), looking forward to work on them

Just for the sake of immediately identify which book item is in paper or ebook, why not just use a colored tag? then, let's say, for all ebook you could see the colored square beside the title in the main window

Thank you for letting me know
-
Thank you both, very useful information!

Thanks Dan! So, am I right to assume that 'identifier' refers to a generic (or repository specific) identifier which is not a DOI, since it has its own field? I'm still not sure how 'status' is used though: is it regarding standards to specify if …

Oh thank you, I did miss the explanation (luckily enough that's the same one I gave to the user, since it seems odd to me to manually add a web page since it's a lot easier and faster to do so via the connector).
-
-
I'm not suggesting it either, I've been using Zotero for years without ever feeling the need for this, better spend the time elsewhere for sure! I've just tried it for testing purposes. Thank you nonetheless for the support
-
Oh, thank you for the explanation, it's clear now. I did a few more test and it seems that the websites handling files without the correct type are way more than legit ones... -_-"

Yes, SBN has a new interface, I raised the issue some time ago: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/97158/catalog-not-working-with-connector/p1 A translator update is needed. In the meantime, for both catalogues, there's a workaround of using manu…

I've experienced the same issue: Debug ID: D277774907
