I want to add that it is possible from the thumbnail view (left pane) as well. There it would be even better if the page was synced to what I currently view. Also, the rotation feature could be added to the context menu of the current page (right …

Agreed.

Any thoughts on this? Is it a performance issue?

Can confirm in 6.0.6.

First of all, please see the following as constructive criticism, I am very happy with Zotero and grateful for the continued development of the software. I can't stress enough how big of an impact this has on my daily workflow. Zotero is pretty muc…

@dstillman are you aware of the ongoing problems with scrolling and highlighting (see my comment above)?
-
This works now perfectly with build 5.0.97-beta.56+32a5826a1. Thanks! :)

After using the build some more I can confirm that sometimes I can't scroll with my fingers while highlighting without highlighting text. This can temporarily be fixed by switching back and forth to e.g. the drawing tool.

@martynas_b It happens with text within one page (of a multi-page PDF).

This has been fixed in build 159. Thanks! :)

I agree. CMD + Z should basically undo the last annotation step (including notes and others). CMD + Y (or CMD + Shift + Z) should redo the last step. Typically, this results in keeping a history of the last N edits at all time.

Sorry for double-posting, but I can now confirm that it does sometimes work as expected: In the Zotero app I enable text-highlighting and can still scroll with my fingers and at the same time highlight text with the Apple Pencil. Here is a short vid…

+1 on this. It is very counterintuitive and breaks with conventions from other apps. There is a global setting for this in iOS so I think there is some kind of build-in functionality you could use?
