macOS user here. Works fine yesterday until the Sequoia 15.3.2 update. Now, the bar appears but nothing shows up when I write something. Nothing happened too when I click on the cross to cancel.

Actually, it's still not as smooth as Preview. There are always some steps as you scroll with a mouse wheel but smaller. It's still annoying that there is a dead zone in the beginning of the trackpad movement.
