Many thanks!

I agree! I much preferred 11th edition! Here is the information from Cite Them Right Online (matches information in print 12th edition): Journal articles Citation order: Author (surname followed by initials) Year of publication (in round bracke…

Apologies. I've also just noticed that neither of the new 12th edition styles insert Available at: before the doi URL.
-
Thank you - much appreciated. Am I right in thinking that you've updated Cite Them Right 11th edition - Harvard (no "et al.") to the 12th edition instead of creating a new style? If this is the case then the style is still called Cite Them Right 1…

Hi. I think that you may have changed the name of the University of York Harvard instead of York St John University - Harvard. Best wishes, Ruth
-
Thank you!
-
Thanks you very much!
-
Thank you for creating this - it's very much appreciated. Would it be possible to have a (no "et al.") version as well i.e. exactly the same but including all authors?
-
Great - much appreciated.
-
Many thanks! Will the fixed version replace the one in the ZSL automatically or or do we need to get it replaced using GitHub?
-
I haven't heard anything back on the pull request so I just wanted to check that there wasn't anything else that I'm meant to have done? Thanks, Ruth
-
It is a variant within the Cite Them Right 10th edition style guide (included above). We've followed the instructions provided by damnation and submitted a pull request. Thanks, Ruth
-
@damnation - the style is not the same as the 'Cite Them Right' style and needs to be retained as our returning students will still be using it. We would just like the name of the style changed to York St John University - Harvard (pre September 20…

The new guide has now been published to reflect the requested change to style name: www.yorksj.ac.uk/ile/harvardpdf Thanks.
-
We need to keep the old style at the moment as returning students will still be using it. Thanks,
-
Please could I get the name of this style changed? From September 2019 we will be asking new students to use Cite Them Right Harvard. We would, therefore, like to change the name of this style to York St John University - Harvard (pre September 20…

Many thanks. This looks correct. Is it possible to replace the style on the repository with this? Apologies for all the toing and froing. Ruth

First sentence on p.20 of the guidelines reads: If the ebook is just an electronic version of the print you can reference it as you would a print book (see page 18). That's what we would like the style to reflect. Thanks, Ruth
-
Thanks adamsmith - that is correct.

I've tested the following: https://github.com/POBrien333/styles/raw/8f8c725ed78c02aa5d8cb6003343fd3a5a69d6df/harvard-york-st-john-university.csl 1) If a report or documents has a URL is it possible for the reference to format as on page 63 e.g. …

Many thanks - I will test. The reason for these changes is that we have just starting using Talis Aspire for our reading list system. I understand that they pull the style information from Zotero. In Talis Aspire there is a Document format which I…

Hi, Our official guidance for ebooks (https://www.yorksj.ac.uk/ils/harvardpdf, p. 20) has now been updated so would it be possible to alter the style so that ebook and ebook chapters are referenced in the same way as print books and chapters? Also…
-
Apologies - we are just in the process of updating the guidance on ebooks. I will repost when the updated guidance is available. Many thanks, Ruth
-
Hi, The style is now correct in relation to point 2) - thanks! It looks like 1) is still an issue i.e. the presence of a URL in a book record results in the reference including [Internet], the URL and an accessed date when we'd like it to appea…

There are just two edits that I would really appreciate being made (if possible): 1) Books, book chapters & journal articles: our current style guidance is that ebooks, ebook chapters and online journal articles are referenced in the same way a…

Apologies - I must have been looking at an old source. I will repost with the other corrections once I've checked that I haven't missed anything. Many thanks.

Apologies for reposting but I think that this still needs correcting. When I view the post it says that there is one comment but when I go into the thread there doesn't appear to be one. If the request has been made in the wrong way then please le…
