I tried one from that list and it works fine. I guess I just had bad luck when I tried different styles. If you update the MPP file, will it update automatically in my zotero or will I have to re-download it? Thanks!

Mine updated automatically. Go to Preferences> Cite > Styles and look for 'Public Library of Science.' Mine has a date of 1/23/2015. I think the PLOS ONE style is just a reference to this style so the plos one style does not need to be updated.
