• Ok, this sync after every change is working. Would love for this to get fixed in 4.1. Thanks for the help!

• FYI, The old tag was "needs to be tagged" and the temporary one was "needs to to be tagged." I did the changes very quickly. I'll re-try the process now and sync between changes and see if that works.

• Ok, I can sync between major changes in the future, and see if that works. When will 4.1 come out? To update: those changes I made locally never were updated because I just re-synced Standalone and all my changes were lost: there are now 100 it…

• Correction: the tag shows, but it's still incorrect (same as it says in Chrome)

• Interesting. In another browser (Firefox) neither the new nor old tag appears. Are you saying this shouldn't be a problem in the long run as long? I work from multiple computers which is what got me in trouble in the first place.

• I have also encountered the same problem on Zotero Standalone for Mac with a message that "Zotero syncing is currently unavailable." Report ID: 726465481

• Now it seems to be working as in changes syncing online and to all computers. I'll keep experimenting and see if it stops working, but this last change worked (that debug id)
