Thanks for your help Adam. They do in fact require Chicago although nowhere do they explicitly say-so. Some journal's need to make an investment in a user-friendly website. Thanks again for your assistance.

Is there a possibility they have migrated to a different style? I only ask because it appears they want an Author-Date (which I understand to be intext not footnote). The style-guide uploaded to EndNote (dated March 2012) is described as: Citation…

As a follow-up, I notice that EndNote refers to the style as Author-Year? Does this make it compatible with all other Author-Year styles or are there other possible variations within this style type (I would assume the latter).

If I remember correctly, OOo does this at times importing characters it does not recognize. I'm not sure how to modify this.

I just encountered this problem running the latest beta (2.1b2). If I popup the HTML editor I can add text which will be saved into the body of the note. Sometimes I can edit the note - the problem seems intermittent.

Worked - FF4 must have brought in an old Zotero directory I had from my FF3 (or even 2 it was so long ago) profiles. Thanks for your patience - it works great now. I have it syncing in Windows & Linux and with both MSWord2010 and LibreOffice 3
