James, thanks for the update. I also contacted Wiley but forgot to update the thread with news of their reply.

Thanks for checking the validation. I didn't know you could do that. However, I notice that this feed... http://www.nrcresearchpress.com/action/showFeed?type=etoc&feed=rss&jc=apnm ...also doesn't validate on that site, but does work in Zot…

May I please bump this question?
-
I would be grateful for that. Thank-you! Debug ID: D2073921534 This instance describes "select all" and then "collapse all". ~14000 items expanded ~8000 items collapsed.

Perhaps my description is not limited to a search folder after all. I now notice difficulty in simply showing "My Library" (8000 collapsed items). CTRL+A to "select all" and then pressing "+" to "expand all" makes Zotero freeze. This happens with …

BTW, "not annotated" means that there is no child note found that contains text "Extracted Annotations". That is, the annotations have not been extracted yet.

Understood. Thanks again. Other users may find clarity in this thread as well, so that is good.

Yes, it works with the beta build. Thank-you. Collection 1: 866 items Collection 2: 4644 items Collections 1+2: 291 items Regarding the syntax issue, I was referring to the language used in the support section of the website called "Complex Search…

Thank-you, yes. Collection 1 Search in library: My Library Match any of the following Attachment contains A (3 words) Attachment contains B (1 word) Attachment contains C (1 word) Attachment contains D (1 word) Attachment contains E (2 words) Attac…

That is, "Match all of the following:"..."Match any of the following:".

I would like to bump this, as I also have experienced this uncertainty in searches that would return a large number of items.

I have worked with it a bit, so I will record my suggestion for others to find. For a given series as described in my original post there are seven items, each with an attached PDF and unique DOI. My method: 1) I made each item related to the oth…

Please allow me to clarify. I am looking for suggestions of personal preference; not to understand the technical requirements of the software. Looking for ideas from people who have found what works for them.
-
Thanks for relating what you found!

Sorry for not replying earlier. At least one of the feeds that does this is from ScienceDirect. The articles get the current date each day the feed is published.
-
I meant to say "remove read feed items after 1 day".
-
It works now; I am not sure what changed (I did nothing). Thanks so much for helping.
-
Perhaps Google Scholar is preventing this via its Captcha security? I am a new user and am trying to bring over 2800 papers.

The Debug ID is D1702291864.

Yes. The "install Microsoft Word Add-in" button has no effect.
