@htemby Could you make a screenshot with the misaligned annotations? Also it would be helpful if you could send the same PDF file to support@zotero.org (and included a link to this thread).
-
@scholarium Could you create a new thread for that sync issue and explain how many annotations do you have approximately in a note that can't sync?
-
We should be able to fix that. Thanks for reporting.
-
It's exactly the same problem as here: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/93949/beta-stacked-view-lower-display-does-not-scroll-tab-doesnt-help The item count label is just hidden.
-
Ok, I can reproduce the issue with a freshly created profile. After resizing item pane it works as expected. We'll fix this.
-
Yes, in this case it stops working, I can reproduce. We'll fix it.
-
This is not implemented yet, although is planned. For now you can do File → Save As and print the exported PDF with your default PDF viewer.
-
I can't reproduce the issue. Although if a comment is focused (or you click an annotation without a comment and the comment gets focused automatically) then 'h' and 's' won't work because you're typing in a comment. But if you think 'h' or 's' doesn…

Citations in Note Editor are only for preview and don't support any citation style or configuration options. As soon as a note is inserted into a word processor, citations work as expected.
-
Active annotations and citations in headings currently aren't planned, unless there would be a demand for that. Why exactly do you need those? Could you describe your workflow?
-
Active annotations and citations currently aren't supported in headings and some other blocks. But, I agree, it should at least preserve the text when converting into another block.
-
In both cases this is expected behavior. Although, yes, if you import existing note annotatios, the new note icon is bigger and can cover something, which is a little bit inconvenient.
-
@reimerth 1. There is currently some grey space on either side of my pdfs, about as wide as the scroll bar. Is this necessary? I prefer to maximize screen space on my little laptop. Are you using View → Zoom to Page Width? If so, the grey margins s…

There are Back/Forward options in Go menu or you can just press Alt + Arrow Left. Isn't that enough?
-
Yes, this isn't right. For now we'll make Cmd-F to work all the time when note editor is focused. Thanks for pointing this out.
-
Yes, it shouldn't be like that. We'll try to fix. Thanks for reporting.
-
Thanks for reporting. We'll investigate.
-
Thanks for reporting. We'll fix the issue.

There was an issue in Zotero. It should be fixed in the next update. Although if you are modifying ink annotations that were exported from Zotero, they might become read-only annotations that won't be imported anymore. But they should never disappe…
-
And ink annotations disappear from the PDF file after the re-import? Could you send an example PDF that we could try to re-import, to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?
-
I'm wondering if extensions.spellcheck.inline.max-misspellings isn't set to 0, which was a common practice in past. @sacha73 can you check what value that preference has? See https://www.zotero.org/support/preferences/hidden_preferences
-
There will be a fix in the next update (for all mentioned issues).
-
I can reproduce and will try to fix.
-
@alexcr87 One advice if you want notes to appear in reading order - position note on top or next to the text where it belongs. Notes order is determined by the closest text offset in a page.
-
@beifengli The last video link no longer works. Can you re-upload it?
-
I can't reproduce this. Could you send the exported file to support@zotero.org also including a link to this thread?
-
Yes, currently only parent item has it. And for the "Add to Note" you must open a note on the right-hand pane to activate the option.
-
For the new beta you no longer need Zotfile extension to extract annotations. Just right-click on an item and use "Add Note from Annotations". That will solve all your mentioned problems.
-
We are working on a fix. Thanks for reporting.
-
If you are trying to print on a larger physical paper than normally, then yes you should export the PDF file and print with another PDF viewer (or just open it via Show File, if you don't need annotations).
