I can reproduce and will try to fix.
-
@alexcr87 One advice if you want notes to appear in reading order - position note on top or next to the text where it belongs. Notes order is determined by the closest text offset in a page.
-
@beifengli The last video link no longer works. Can you re-upload it?
-
I can't reproduce this. Could you send the exported file to support@zotero.org also including a link to this thread?
-
Yes, currently only parent item has it. And for the "Add to Note" you must open a note on the right-hand pane to activate the option.
-
For the new beta you no longer need Zotfile extension to extract annotations. Just right-click on an item and use "Add Note from Annotations". That will solve all your mentioned problems.
-
We are working on a fix. Thanks for reporting.
-
If you are trying to print on a larger physical paper than normally, then yes you should export the PDF file and print with another PDF viewer (or just open it via Show File, if you don't need annotations).
-
In the next update the print resolution will be doubled. Thanks for reporting.
-
We already support this. It doesn't work with none of your notes or only some of them?
-
@alexcr87 Here is the list of supported keyboard shortcuts and Markdown input rules. Could you make a video demonstrating the issue with `something`, as I can't reproduce it.
-
Yes, from the technical perspective it's possible to show a page in a popup when an internal link is hovered, but, unfortunately, the bigger part of PDFs don't have internal links. If we would want to overcome this, it's necessary to analyze the who…

This is strange and uncommon, but the scanned images in the PDF files have some unsupported properties. PDF.js repo already has an issue for this, so let's keep an eye on it: https://github.com/mozilla/pdf.js/issues/13051

@till.grallert Are those PDFs scanned papers? Because some PDFs use JBIG2 compression and can result in extremely high resolution images where each page is eating hundreds of megabytes. Try to to test memory usage with other PDFs, but before that …
-
@MGOOOD Could you also send the PDF file to support@zotero.org?
-
Not yet, but we are working on it. For now you can do File -> Save As and then open and print with another PDF viewer.
-
@appw We found the issue, and it will be fixed in the next update.
-
@bwiernik Try to set layers.acceleration.disabled pref to true, as it can be GPU acceleration issue. If that helps, it would be useful to know which GPU are you using.
-
This will work soon.
-
@appw We haven't received your email. Could you send it again?
-
@fgr1 Unfortunately Zotero can't log the actual error that caused the issue (we'll improve that in the next update). Zotero tries to write to \storage\\.zotero-pdf-state file and fails. There are basically two reasons for that: 1) Another software …

@kangkang1015 The issue will be fixed in the next update.
-
@appw Could you send us an example PDF to support@zotero.org also including a link to this thread? Does it happen with all PDF files that have Chinese?
-
Thanks, we will try to improve that.
-
Yes, see here: https://github.com/zotero/zotero/issues/1986#issuecomment-877064552 https://github.com/zotero/zotero/issues/1976#issuecomment-877072198
-
Yes, we have this limitation at the moment, and we're thinking about possible solutions.
-
Yeah, for now you should just drag images into note editor, because file pasting from file system is partially broken on Window and can't be properly supported. On Linux and macOS it was never working at all. In future Zotero versions this should wo…
-
@wuyulele 1) Which operating system are you using? 2) Can you insert an image by dragging it into a note?
-
The issue will be fixed in the next update.

@Maurice-schleussinger The issue will be fixed in the next update.
