Yes, that was intentional. To navigate annotations as a list, you need to select one from the annotation list in the sidebar. However, in document view, it’s now possible to select any annotation or link in the text by pressing TAB and using the arr…

It seems there's a regression, and it no longer focuses on an annotation comment when clicking on a newly created annotation or an annotation without a comment. I assume this is what you're referring to. We'll fix it.

When I'm working, it's easy to forget that the PDF is open in Zotero, as opposed to Acrobat. So, by reflex and habit, I'll click the "X" in the top right-corner of the program to close the PDF when I'm done with it. This ends up closing Zotero as a …

Latex in annotation comments is not supported, sorry.
-
Could you try opening a PDF file in the Firefox browser to see if the same issues occur as they do in Zotero?
-
Thanks for the video. But are you sure that other software on your device doesn't have the same issue?
-
@ponyma 1. How much memory does Zotero use? 2. How many PDFs are open? 3. Does this happen with all PDF files?
-
First, a rotation button would be really nice (as a ton of journals format tables sideways, and they need to be rotated to read them). Isn't Edit -> Rotate Page Left/Right enough? Second, I routinely accidentally close Zotero when viewing a PDF (…

How exactly are you creating them in Acrobat Reader?
-
It'll be fixed in the next update—thanks.
-
Could you explain in more detail what you're doing and what the problem is? Or even make a video.
-
Let us know if any issues still happen in Zotero 7.
-
LaTeX equations are only supported in Zotero child or standalone notes within your library.
-
@saltiniroberto 1. How often does it happen? 2. Does it happen with all PDF files? 3. Is there a consistent way to reproduce it?
-
Is it always slow, or does it depend on the PDF file or zoom level? Or are there other situations when it's not slow?
-
@mjthoraval Can you still reproduce the issue?
-
But if you enable the highlight tool in the toolbar, you can highlight text without any problems, right?
-
I mean we’ll consider selecting the annotation when navigating to it.
-
@lawchess Those links directly reference a specific annotation by its ID. In such cases, we should probably select that annotation, rather than highlighting the text as we do for annotations that were dragged into a note, which never point to a spec…

Could you send the PDF file to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?
-
The reference popup will show normalized text in the next update. We'll see what we can do regarding [1] in future Zotero versions.
-
It will be fixed in the next update—thanks.
-
There was a regression that caused the search colors to appear very faint, but it will be fixed in the next update. Thanks for reporting.
-
Resizing table columns is currently not supported. How exactly are you exporting the note to CSV?
-
For annotation popups, that issue exists in version 7.0.7 as well, but it's already fixed in the latest beta.
-
That issue appeared temporarily in one of the beta versions, but it should already be fixed. Which version are you testing this on?
-
We'll try to fix that—thanks.
-
We'll fix the issue in dark mode and also intensify the colors slightly in light mode in the next Zotero beta version. Thanks for reporting.
-
Is it interfering with your reading in some way? Could you explain exactly what the problem is?
-
We need to figure out why the show/hide options aren't working for you. Could you answer the two questions I asked above?
