My point is not exactly about multiple items--even if I want to share just one reference, I still need the "select" interface to get to the copy reference button. But probably the three-dots menu would do the trick.

Ok, so a workaround for this is to incorporate periodical titles into PDF title with ZotFile. Then they are searchable in the iPad File app, PDF Expert, etc. Not sure if anyone needs this particular workaround but just in case.

+ 1 for save as pdf integration. I've been printing separately and attaching to a saved website item (per @qqbb -- and you can also just drag the pdf file into zotero on top of the item). But doing this automatically would save a lot of time.
