• +1, I´m trying to share a collection for a seminar, but not everyone is or wants to be in Zotero, and as much as I love Zotero it´s not adequate to proselytize in this seminar.

• Apologies for resurrecting this thread, I had a similar problem, and disabling the zotfile plugin +restarting firefox fixed it.

• Recently had the same problem on windows 8 and word 2013, and after installing manually it still didn´t work. After double clicking in the explorer on the Zotero.dot file in the word startup folder, it showed up in word and worked.
