• Thanks Dan！ I tryed a few times before solving the problem. I think the key is DO NOT touch any thing before zotero finish installing the PDF tools. Anyway, it would be better if there is some feedback whilst install the tools.

• Yes, it happen when I insert a citation as endnote in blank file, then try change style from chicago to other. Change within chicago styles is OK.

• OK, i was wrong. the error is "error updating your document". Do you still want me to file the report? This happens when i insterted citation with chicago style and try change into other which is not allow footnote/endnote selection.
