Thanks for your extraordinarily fast replies! It turned out that I was viewing a pdf on my hard drive in the browser. When I viewed an online pdf, all was well. Thank you so much, and apologies for taking up your time.

Hi Dan. Apologies for slow reply. I'm not sure what happened but my database managed to sync with the zotero server and it all now seems absolutely fine! So thank you so much again for your all support and this fantastic tool. Best wishes. W
