• You're right, the certs were bad. I was accessing jstor from a bookmark, but the certificate from that url expired a week or two ago. I accessed jstor from the univ's library link instead, and it worked fine. Thanks for the help!

• I have been having the same problem. Downloading pdfs from jstor used to be a no brainer, now they will not download for me. I accomplished the debug steps as noted above. Here's my ID: D1168836336

• Happens to me too sometimes. Usually when i copy text to a new note. When i type a note from scratch, it works better. Sometimes, when i restart Zotero desktop, the titles fill in. Definitely some sort of bug.
