• Yes, same here. "New Collection" from the menu doesn't do anything, but "Sub Collection" does work. The "New Collection" button still works. This is on latest Zotero, Firefox 2.0.0.1, Debian GNU/Linux.

• Hmm, rather confusingly if I move Zotero back to a full pane again the status bar still works. I'll try this at home on a clean install of iceweasel and report back. Richard.
