I think that earlier I did more or less what you suggest (I cleared the index on all 3 PCs, then rebuilt the index one one of them). The result is 2442 indexed on one of them, 1550 on the second and 87 on the third one).

Thanks. Unfortunately, it does not seem to sync the index. One one PC I have 2442/13/273 indexed/partly/not indexed files. On the other one I cleared the index entirely and waited for it to sync but the proportions are quite different (ca. 1500 ind…

Thank for the reply. In the apps on both machines I used "Everything" quick search. But now I see that on one machine the number of indexed items is much lower than on the other one (2300 vs 900), which may explain the discrepancies. I understand th…

You are right. I removed some keyboard shortcut (in Ubuntu linux) and now it no longer interferes. Thank you.

Maybe I should add, that pressing alt does no more than end current input. As if I pressed "enter".

Adam, Thank you for the reply. As regards "no date" and why should I like to remove it - in cases when I refer to rulings of the Court of Justice of the European Union I had to work out my own "style" (or rather "workaround"), in which I i…

Thank you, now it worked fine. Do you have any suggestions as to the other questions in my previous post (you replied before I saved changes to my last post)?

Hello, I actually have something like this in Zotero Reference Test pane (when I choose Chicago Full Note from drop-down menu, before any edits): …

Thank you. So, if I uderstand properly, I can determine other "sequence of criteria", ie have all entries first sorted according to issue date and then, within each year, according to contributor's name and so on? And what is "genre"? Is it the type…

Hello, This is an interesting topic! Support fo CJ's cases ould be really useful. I wonder whether it is now possible to use the EU's CJ cite form? If yes, how can I do it? I did install MLZ and Chicago style, selected MLZ Chicgo full note in t…

Abiword support would be great, indeed.

OK, I found it. Thanks.

What about Chicago Full Note with bibliography and without "ibid"? Is there a ready to use style? If not - can I modify it myself?

I subscribe to this question.

Thanks, I did the test and it worked as you had said it would. But still many files were not to be found (even though they were not longer tan 100 pages, not split into separate lines, words in a phrase were not divided by more than one space, anyth…

"If your PDFs are not indexed that would explain why you are only finding words which appear in titles, rather than inside the PDFs." But that would be too simple an explanation ;) Yes, they are indexed, and I hope they are properly indexe…

b6.5. Maybe I should try newer version.

Thanks, but it does not seem to work. As I examine what has has been found and what has not, it appears that the "the" word was found only in titles, not in PDFs. I mean that only those files were displayed, titles of which do contain "the". So it d…

Search as such works fine. My problem is that, for example, I would like to find all articles mentioning "hot dog" (food), but zotero displays all articles concerning a very different subject, but containing both mentioned words, like "I get very un…

Hello, Could you please answer my question? I really do not know whether there is no answer because the solution is so simple, or because it is not possible to phrase-search in PDFs.
