Are you referring to the portable version of Firefox 3? Here is a link to a Mac version.

Locate your Zotero database. Copy the Zotero.sqlite file. Then zip up the copy. Then send it as an attachment to trevor@zot...org or support@zot...org
-
Your Zotero directory is inside your Firefox profile which is on your USB key. The Profile is most likely located at FirefoxPortable\Data\profile directory.
-
I just fixed the links, it should work for you now.

Can you zip up your database and send it to me, or to support@zot....org

As far as I know there is no easy spot to see exactly how Zotero's item types map out to RIS. It should be relatively self explanatory, and RIS has a rather small amount of fields, almost all of which have a home inside Zotero. You might try exporti…

If you select a whole series of items and drag them onto a tag you can batch add that tag to the selected items. The entire Zotero interface, including the preferences pane, should be localized in German. If you run your Firefox in the German loca…

I am not exactly sure what is going on. I would recommend that you back up your Zotero data directory, which is inside your Firefox profile, and then try reinstalling both portable Firefox and Zotero. When you reinstall Firefox you might try using t…

If you upgrade to Zotero 1.0.7 this bug should be fixed.

Could you explain what you mean about highlighting not working at all? Do you see icons? Also, which version are you running. Zotero 1.0.7, released today, included some fixes for issues with annotations.
-
That means that the issue has been fixed in the development version and will be fixed in the next release. You can read more about the trunk here.

What happens if you use the Full Note Chicago Manual of Style format. That should always stick in the full citation.
-
You have a few options. First, you can manually remove the publishers names from the citations. Second, if you feel comfortable with a bit of XML, you can make a copy of your Chicago Manual of Style CSL and cut out the publishers. If you do want t…

The word plugin should not effect your previous documents. You might try disabling the word plugin. To disable the word plugin look for "Templates & Add-ins" under the tools dropdown menu. Then just try disabling the plugin.
-
@olgafinikova, it depends on how those files are formatted. If those .txt files are formatted in one of the supported import formats (For example RIS or BibTeX) it should be very easy to import them.
-
Your issue with the word document will also be solved if you start moving a single database back and forth. The word plugin is tied to the specific database you used to create it. In the future there are plans for easier ways to move documents aroun…

There is a ticket for this behavior.

You can hold down Option/AltCtrl to highlight the collections that contain the selected item(s). There is a ticket to add "untagged" and "unfiled" as advanced search criteria which should make this even easier.
-
How many entries are you trying to import? The first thing to do is to open the file you exported from Endnote with a text editor to see if the information is actually there. Sometimes Endnote can do a terrible job of actually including the informat…

Generally you should only get the no symbol when the item is already also in that collection. Are you sure you do not already have a copy of the item in the second collection?
-
Can you try disabling any other Firefox extensions you are running? There are some known issues with other extensions that can cause this sort of thing. If that solves your issue please report back with the name of the extension causing the confl…

1.5 is not finished. The preview which is currently out is still a work in progress. You might also be confusing 1.5 with 1.0.5, which are different releases.
-
All your references are stored locally. See the FAQ. If you use the Sync Preview version your references will also be backed up to the Zotero server.

My Library shows you all the items you have collected. To reiterate, the My Library icon shows you every single item, including all the items in your imported collections. Most likely, your issue with dragging items has to do with the fact that tho…

Thanks for posting on this. We have just about solved this issue. We hope to have a fix out for it shortly.

The most likely issue is that you have multiple authors with the same last name, or that you are citing multiple works by the same author but the author's name appears differently in your database. In either of these cases many styles ask that autho…
