• Resolved. I specified a symbolic link for storage/ directory in order to synchronize with cloud. Cloud folder was moved and the symbolic link was not updated.

• Good question. Originally, I did it as you suggested. It turned out that the zotfile manual tells you to use different separators for linux and windows.
