Thank you so much. When I switched the codes on, and made a search, I found it between 'T' and 'he' in a sentence. I cut the sentence, pasted it into a notepad, copied it again and pasted it into my thesis. Then made a refresh of my 'Works cited…

Hello again I had my husband to come in and give a hand. a) It makes no difference whether or not the cable from the external screen is plugged in. b) we found out that my 'entry-bar' pops up in the middle of my laptop screen. When it is situated i…

1) I do have an extra screen. However, Zotero acts the same whether or not I have the cable from the extra screen attached. I will however, make a test and remove the extra screen in my windows setting to see if that makes a difference. 2) Windows 1…

@dstillman: I did explain but his reaction was that I should then do my reference work manually, instead of relying on 'technical solutions that obviously do not work satisfactorily' (to quote him). It did not make matters any better that I tried to…

@bwiernik: Do you know of a manual that shows you the codes for placing in the extra field? How did you learn about the possibilities in the extra field?

@bwiernik: Ahh ... It is Chicago Manual style 17th ed. (Author date). And it is in the list of references that the page number do not appear. Other references (books, articles etc) do have page number.

I am not certain what you mean by style. I use 'Note font size 12', 'Font size Bigger'. I have chosen 'Billede/Skulptur'. Layout 'standard view.' I have chosen: 'Collection pane' + 'Item pane'.

Hello bwiernik, I admit to not having understood that it had to be so exact. So, I have made another attempt entering: Container title: Pickwick Papers Publisher: Macmillan Page: 160 You are right in that the title of the book and th…

Hello bwiernik I do not know if your Zotero offers more options than mine, but I cannot get it to work. If I fill in the 'Extra' box as you suggest --> go to the desired place in my text --> find the entry in question and asks Zotero to enter …

Hello, I think it was the Figure Caption that I used. Being a Danish version, I do not have the correct titles. I used the option you get, when you right click you JPG-picture. There is an option little more than halfway down. When you click it, thi…

I am sorry to hear that. There is to big a gap between the previous backup copy. I thought that I was being clever. (In word for windows) I had an illustration, and I wanted to insert 'author-date' in the 'figure text box'. However, this was not pos…
