I already tried each of those. That's why I'm confused. I'm wondering if it's something in how they search the library. If they check just the first few words and say "yup, that's the same, move on", basically thinking it's a duplicate.

When I click the "add new citation" button I can type and bring them both up. When I click on 1 and add it (I can't highlight both and add them both at the same time) and then go to add the second one it's nowhere to be found in the drop-down menu.
