• Just realised I had fixed it by shifting the zotero.sqlite file to the place where the empty new one was, but just had to restart Firefox etc. for it to appear. Many thanks for the file name etc. :)

• I've just added Zotero and am now getting the same unresponsive script warnings when I open hotmail in firefox... maybe I'll just use explorer for mail.
