Indeed, looks like the correct path for that file for Word 2016 is: ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office/User Content/Startup/Word

This is very interesting. My install of Office 2016 (which came from a university site license installer) did not install the Mac apps into an "Office 2016" folder, similar to Office 2011. Instead, I have Microsoft Word.app, Microsoft Excel.app, etc…
