• Solved the substantive problem here too with Zotero Duplicates Merger Addon. https://github.com/frangoud/ZoteroDuplicatesMerger Merger maybe not perfect compared to doing it manually, but certainly allowed me to do it quickly.

• I figured out I can rename the pdfs with zotfile, so I have that part under control now.
