• @adamsmith hmm, it seems I can no longer save the PDF from dl.acm.org anymore. chrome and firefox extension work fine though.

• well, I'm using a pac proxy but it should bypass the acm.org site since I'm on campus.

• It sometimes works even at acm.org. I use a browser based on qtwebengine - qutebrowser.
