Thanks Dan & Adam - this looks promising. I'm up against a deadline at the moment, but will definitely look into this later.

Okay, when I CTRL-click and selected "toggle field" codes that successfully removed all of the metadata and goobledygook :) However, when I add the next (i.e., new) in-text citation, it throws in all the metadata again and so I have to CTRL-click …

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately alt+F9 didn't do anything, i.e., didn't show any Word fields.

Oh, okay, thanks. So I guess I'll go with the default (Zotero>RDF). Just curious: why is the csv listed as an option if it's "useless" as a backup? Thanks.
-
Sure thing. I click on the Gear icon>Export Library>Select format as CSV and check/select the tick-box 'Export Notes' and then click Ok. Then after waiting 3-4 minutes, it hangs and is unresponsive. At that point I Force-Quit the app. Thanks.

Disregard. I figured out what the problem was regarding the Tag Selector Box not appearing. I saw there was a little indentation in the lower left pane and when I clicked on it, then the Tag Selector Box appeared. Thanks.
-
Thanks, but when I use advanced search, it gives me results from other collections in addition to the folder I've selected. When I tried the other search option, I don't see any tag selector in the left panel. As best I can tell, the left panel onl…

Sure, no problem. For example, my library has several folders Main Library >Folder (e.g., Shakespeare) >Folder (e.g., Hemingway) >Folder (e.g., Faulkner) etc ... In each of these folders I have certain bibliographic cites tagged as "prior…

devs have said that colored tags will be implemented and most of the code, as I understand, is already included in the 3.0b. Great news! Really glad this is happening.

The Beta works great. Thanks! (No luck when replacing the existing translator file, so I'll just use Beta/Zotero everywhere until the new update to the Fx extension.)

Apologies. Thanks!

Thanks for the news update and glad to hear about the "major server move". I've got my Preferences set to auto-sync and will continue to do so.
-
Disregard. The notes now show up. Perhaps it just took a while for the sync to happen.

Thanks for responding. I checked the Group settings and it doesn't show the invitation as 'pending' and so I'm assuming that this person has been validated. Is that a correct assumption? Shouldn't it also show an accepted member's status (e.g.…

I don't know if you're referring to the same issue/problem, but I've been having trouble getting the Snapshot feature to work with some cites/articles. Example: http://www.uic.edu/htbin/cgiwrap/bin/ojs/index.php/fm/article/view/2841/2475 Than…

Okay, here is an example. http://www.worldcat.org/wcpa/journaltitle/Journal%2Bof%2Bthe%2BLearning%2BSciences Zotero does a great job of identifying the first page, but misses the end page (FYI: The end page for this cite is 337).
-
Disregard; that's a book too and I can't seem to find the cite where I encountered the problem. If I find it later, I'll post it.
-
Sorry about that (looong night of research last night) http://www.worldcat.org/wcpa/journaltitle/Studies%2Bin%2BHigher%2BEducation

Sure, thanks for responding. http://www.worldcat.org/wcpa/journaltitle/Studies%2Bin%2BHigher%2BEducation

Thanks. I'm running 1.0.3 but still experiencing the same problem.

[quote] I'm using Zotero on Mac OS X 10.3.9 and am experiencing the problem described by benshaine above.[quote] I'm having this problem too. Has somebody already filed this as a bug?
