i restarted adn the zotero tab was there when i reopened the word document. Should have tried that in the first place. Thanks for your help!!!!!!!

I went here https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_integration and downloaded windows plugin. I already have zotero in firefox. i am trying to get zotero to talk to word 2016

I downloaded and ran exe file. I restarted firefox. What do I do now. I don't see it in add-ins. Do i have to restart word too? my whole computer?/

i last added to the library in May. I have been focusing on data analysis in spss since then. I have to leave in about five minutes. why is zotero not recognizing my library? Or is that a whole other thread?

I have an external drive that does backups but if the data is not on my c drive then what do i do to get it to create a folder on my c drive so that it will then subsequently be backedup to external drive

on the old computer i was using standalone i think. i never logged into firefox

1. no file on desktop 2. windows 7 3 show hidden files and folders is on - the only things that show up are welcome email and zotero_1_5_cast.flv

sorry didn't answer your other question. when i click on library i get "no items found" i am not complaining about support - hope you don't feel that way.
