+1 ... I remember us talking about that year back. The takeaway from our previous conversations was that the new version would make it possible to view specific parts from the sources in search results. I really look forward to that. Right now, I re…

Is it still not possible to group tabs in a separate window @dstillman? ----Such a feature would really help us navigate between the sources that need to be read/analyzed in relation to one another.
-
Dark theme needs some revisions, I agree. Similar to Word, Zotero needs an option to keep the pages white. I don't know you, but for me, the current dark mode is useful only in a completely dark room where screen glare is not an issue.
-
Yes!!! Use of symbols is a good idea but having different colours for collections -which could also be automatically applied to its sub-collections- would make it so much easier to navigate the library, I can't emphasize enough.
-
I second this. I brought this up ages ago. That and customizing the color of the main collections...

@coelen yup, that's new and I love it too. Wish it could do the same for endnotes though. That would save a lot of time. I don't know why all academic journals and books employ footnotes instead of endnotes...

I just noticed that this happens with most sources I added a while ago --like a week ago. Though, I have yet to confirm that this is exclusive to these sources.

May I ask, what was the rationale behind the reason why the tag selector box -which, for some reason, appears separately now when clicked on the tags- crops up on the right side of the screen rather than the left side, right next to the annotations …

Is there any updates on this feature? Do you know any GitHub extensions that could do this?
-
Hello everyone! Does anyone happen to know if there’s a way to pin notes at the top? Additionally, I’m still trying to figure out how to view all the comments and annotations in full view rather than the contracted view. Any suggestions are welcome.
-
Hello! Thanks for making possible to keep the abstract section expanded in the side bar. Can you please do the same for the annotations in the left side bar? It really is a very time-consuming task to go over the annotations and comments as they are…

@dstillman Again, thanks of the prompt response to the scrolling issue. Do you perhaps know how to access notes that are not associated with a particular document/entry? It is sort of difficult to remember which particular documents have associated …

This issues has been resolved and I am very happy about this. Makes things look less messy and saves times. Thank you!
-
@Phil_Lee which WebDAV are you using?
-
The sections are expanded, correct. However, when the content is too long, you still need to scrolling down through it. The expanded version does not show all the content in that particular section. Please, see the picture attached. https://s3.amazo…

I really ended up buying a license for HoudahSpot for Mac. That seems to have solved the issue for me.
-
The issue remains. I think it is fair to post just to say you are affected too for more visibility just in case someone comes up with a solution. –––As for the explanation why this is happening, I've run into the following forum post about 4Shared b…

The plug-in mentioned above makes the whole page dark, instead of just the interface. I personally find it very difficult to read when the entire background is dark. I wish there was a way to adjust the contrast at least.
-
+3 Are there any updates on this feature, however?
-
I remember reading about serious issues people are having with that one. Especially with the beta version, it is hard to trust any add-on until things stabilize a bit more. But I'd be interested in hearing about others' experience with Zotero-tag ad…

I completely agree! Implementing this feature in Zotero would be revolutionary. Not only would it enhance the usability of the tags section for mid-to-large size projects, but it would also make the tags sections highly relevant to research.
-
Oh wow! I was about to post a similar post about tags. From what I have gathered from Google search results, this feature has been request for a decade now. To be honest, I would willing to delete the automatically generated tags manually. I think…

I second this!

Thank you! I wasn't sure how to phrase the idea. I have heard about the 7 beta version, and downloaded it thinking it might have a search result snippet feature, but to no avail. I really hope the feature will be added to Zotero soon. This feature …
