The ticket was just closed two days ago as part of a complete rewrite of Zotero's word processing integration. The fix should be available in the next beta release or two.

There will soon be a powerful new storage option designed specifically for Zotero users and groups. We encourage you to remain patient for just a few days.

Why not sync with Zotero 2.0?
-
This is a good idea, and we'll take it under advisement. Merci bien.

Harvard 1 should actually sort bibliography entries by author-date, and the CSL works perfectly for me. Eofios, can you confirm that you actually have the author's full name (first and last) entered identically for each of those entries?
-
Should be, though some very old versions of Word, like Word X for the Mac, won't work with the Zotero plugins at all. Such versions still be able to display Zotero-formatted citations, just not edit them.
-
The only problem you might encounter is backward compatibility of Word's new .docx format if you decide to go from Word 2008 to Word 2003, so be sure to save as .doc going that direction. Of course this has nothing to do with Zotero at all.
-
Yes, it will work. The situation you describe is one of the primary use cases behind Zotero groups.
-
Thanks for the report. We've fixed the problem. Your translators will update automatically within 24 hours, or you can click "Update now" in Zotero preferences.

I have no trouble generating references with page numbers using Harvard. Have you read the documentation on how to use the various citation and bibliography formatting options? You'll want to have a look at http://www.zotero.org/support/creating_b…

Link?

Could you please specify the errors? Without specific documentation, it's not going to be easy to address your problem.

Why not just check for a URL? For example: Of course we would want to move these values to a locale. It also might make sense to include the medium as part of the "accessed" macro. The real hard part comes when acc…

Refresh the citations using the plugin. This will also happen automatically if you add or edit a citation.
-
If you go to Settings->Keys, you can create a private key that will allow you to access a feed of your library, even if your library is not publicly visible at zotero.org.
-
CMS expert Elena concurs that this is working as expected.

I changed the category and title because I don't think this problem is beta- or Word 2008-specific. I believe the style is working by design for the note with bibliography version. If you try the full note or no bibliography Chicago styles, you'll g…

Thanks. Banned.

FYI, any Zotero client already can import items from a group library (or public personal library) page.
-
No, it means you should uncheck the "Enable file syncing" checkbox in the Sync tab of Zotero preferences. You can leave autosyncing enabled.
-
richardparkerdc, Thanks for your message. Your idea is a good one, and we have already adjusted the URL message in our internal build. Are there other specific issues that are causing problems for you? If so, please chime in on other relevant threa…

Ticket created.

The only way I've found to do this ist to create a new object with metadata and link the PDF as an attachment. Which is not the nicest way. Creating a parent item and attaching the PDF is the right way to do this.

Anyone, with or without Zotero, can open and read a Word document with Zotero-formatted citations. At the moment, non-Zotero users aren't able to do anything with those citations, but they can certainly read them with their own eyes. For example, w…

Wikipedia articles can present their references as COinS tags, and Zotero can import them. The first article you post has such references, and the second has none. We do plan to add functionality to save the article, too.
-
Yes, very soon. A full range of citation formatting options will require a bit more time, though. You'll want to stay tuned to the ScholarPress project. Please note that the Zotero CV functionality already allows you to embed collections.

This thread is going nowhere, and I'm not going to let it occupy any more of our development team's time. Rekcor, your suggestion has been duly noted, and if we receive other similar requests, we'll look into it. Otherwise, there is no way that we w…
