Zotero works fine in OS X 10.4. I'm using it right now. I also have not experienced any problems with the Word 2004 plugin.
-
The "OK" button is not necessary to save preferences in OS X. Just enter your username and password and close the prefs window.
-
Can you post a URL or two?
-
This problem is likely fixed in the trunk and will ship with beta 3.
-
And please note that the above-linked Word plugin is for use only with Zotero 1.5 and above.
-
We're testing it now, but it should be available very soon. It's compatible with OS X 10.4 and higher.
-
From the documentation link above: Enter your zotero.org username and password in the Sync tab of the Zotero preferences.
-
Go to Tools->Add-ons in Firefox to see what version of Zotero you're running. If you're not running 1.5, you'll need to get it from our homepage. Then take a look at the documentation.

Sync is only available in Zotero 1.5. If you want to try it now, you'll need to use the beta release.
-
Not so, since our PDF metadata association relies on data that's canonical, at least in principle. It's not parsed directly out of PDFs.

Please feel free to add some of these sites to the translator requests thread.

Hmm, interesting. @weasteam, you see an noticeable improvement in Zotero performance just from the Ubuntu update? What version of Firefox are you running in Ubuntu 9.0.4?
-
This discussion thread might help.

Please do not double post.

Could you provide debug output? Please include output from the moment you download Tjowens's PDF (you can just right-click and Save Link As Zotero Snapshot) through your attempt to retrieve metadata (right-click PDF in Zotero and Retrieve Metadata f…

This problem is most likely already addressed on the trunk (see r4286), and we'll include the fix in 1.5 beta 3. Thanks for the report.
-
What other Firefox add-ons do you have installed?
-
Do you have the PDF indexing tools installed? Check the Search tab in Zotero Preferences.
-
You need to be running Zotero 1.5.
-
What version of Zotero are you using? Only 1.5 supports syncing.
-
What version of Firefox are you using? Is Zotero 1.0.9 also slow on your systems? This sounds like either an Ubuntu issue or a Firefox issue.
-
All three documents have exactly the same author? No differing initials or anything at all?
-
Please note that styles are currently automatically updated in Zotero, i.e. bdarcus's option 3.
-
Got it. Thanks.
-
That first link works for me and pulls the PDF fine. Do you have Zotero errors in "Report errors..." or can you generate debug output?
-
Please provide a URL.

Next time, please try searching the forums before posting. http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/3765

Its moot right now because searches aren't yet supported via the web interface yet, but they will be.

Glad to hear it. Closing thread.
