Dan, I left my browser open for 12+ hours last night to sync, and it didn't do so. I restarted Firefox this morning and I can see if it syncs within a few hours.

It's synced for weeks on end and still is not backed up on the online server.

Sorry for the confusion. It is actually an error for exporting the library. I just tried it again and received this error. 280701231

I tried that and still received the error: Firefox could not install the file at http://www.zotero.org/download/zotero-2.0.8.xpi because: Not a valid install package -207

Sorry for my technical ignorance. How do I clear my browser cache. Thanks so much for your help with this!

This error also occurred while my library was syncing: 770068585.

Sorry for taking so long to respond. I tried to upgrade to 2.0.8 and received this error: Firefox could not install the file at http://www.zotero.org/download/zotero-2.0.8.xpi because: Not a valid install package -207 I am not sure …

The error is: An error occurred while trying to export the selected file. It doesn't give a code or anything.
-
Sorry for the confusion... it won't export the file. It gives an error which I will post soon.

I saw the SSL certificate error instructions, but how can I see the debug output to see if Firefox is in fact freezing?

Dan, I am one of agromis's colleagues, and I am a bit more familiar with computer science than she is. How can I run Firefox with real-time debug output? PS--We are social scientists, so please keep the computerese to a basic level.

I figured it out... I had not emptied the trash.

I have the plugin, and it is syncing. It's just taking a long time to sync. I guess I should be patient, though. I have some big files syncing.
