Yeah, the new translator seems to be working nicely. Thanks for your help once again!
-
Yeah, the new version seems to work great! Thanks!! Do we need the string "&print=true" by the way? I do very much like the fact that snapshots will be saved in the single-page view (with the "page=all" string), but I now get a print prompt whe…

> zuphilip Thanks for your help in the other thread with TouchPoint. I apologize for the late reply. Yeah, the new translator properly saves the bibliographic information now. Thank you very much for your help. I just noticed a possible regres…

> zuphilip > adamsmith Thanks once again. I've just written to the responsible person. I'll report back when I find something out.

Thanks for your advise as always. Ok, I will tell the IT person about the problem with COinS then. What you're suggesting me as an alternative - and perhaps a better solution - is that one could (potentially) write a Zotero translator based on a d…

Thank you for your help once again. Yeah, I was suspecting it was the issue with the library website. I guess what I'm wondering is, what can be done to the website so that Zotero functions properly on it? Could you possibly provide me with a conc…

Thank you very much for your quick reply. No, I don't (when it's not working). I just see "Save to Zotero (Webpage)" on my Zotero button. Again, it sometimes works but in many cases it doesn't. Could you possibly try the links a few times (perhaps…

I just received the release version of Firefox 42.0 and the issue seems to be resolved. My apologies for the fuss.
-
Thanks for your suggestion. Just received an update through the beta branch that resolves this issue (version 4.0.23-beta.r10+39b01b8). The translator is now working again with Amazon US, DE, JP.
-
I hope I did it properly. Here they are: Debug ID: D1057198777 Error ID: 735376090 I'm using Zotero as a Firefox add-on, running under Ubuntu 14.04.1 and Firefox 33 (beta 7).

Hmmm... strange. It still doesn't work for me. Can my Amazon translator be broken somehow...? I have no problems saving, say, articles from JSTOR. [UPDATE] Here is the error log: [JavaScript Error: "no element found" {file: "http://fls-e…

Thank you very much for the immediate replies and a quick fix!!! It works much better now :)
-
[UPDATE] Nevermind, I have solved the issue. Somehow I had missed an option in "Advanced Settings" that allows the user to specify under which circumstances ZotFile should rename the added files. I apologize for cutting in the on-going discu…

Okay yeah, that really cleared up. Thanks! I couldn't quite get around the idea that the "Get from Tablet" command would somehow allow me to delete files as well. Thank you so much for your help! I'll now be making a lot of use of this tool!!

I don't quite understand. Perhaps the way I use Zotero and manage my collection is quite different from normal. What if I want to keep the item, along with the PDF file, but simply want to delete from the sync folder? Does not clicking "move to tras…
-
@adamsmith Thanks for your comment. Okay, I suppose that makes it a little easier to manage the synchronized files. Still, is there not a way to track all the changes? Say, I have deleted 3 PDF files from the sync folder, is there a button to upda…

Hi Joscha, I apologize if this question has already been raised, as I haven't read the entire thread to confirm that this hasn't been posted, but what is the suggested method for deleting the PDF files that have been "sent to tablet" from Zotero v…

Thanks for your quick reply! I will try the suggested solution.

And to reply to one of your comments, I had never experienced this issue when I was using Zotero 3.0.14. It started occurring as soon as I upgraded to 4.0.
-
> Dan Stillman Yeah, I think the latest build solves the issue. Thank you so much for the prompt response!!
-
Can anyone else confirm if version 4.0 now supports Firefox 20? Is the beta release of 4.0 still being expected?
-
I don't know what is the cause, but I experienced this problem with 3.0.9, it went away in 3.0.10, and it is happening again with 3.0.11.
-
Ok that resolved the issue! Thank you so much for your help!!!

Yeah I thought about trying that as well. But the link is unfortunately broken. Is there suppose to be a dev build available for LibreOffice? Both WinWord and MacWord seem to have the dev build but not for LibreOffice.
-
But the fact is that I used to be able to use LibreOffice plugin without any problems prior to reinstalling my system, and I was also using Firefox 10 at the time as well. While I didn't do a good job at describing my issue, I can say that this…
-
Yeah, there's no longer a button I can click on in the new version. I can still access the option menu, but there is no button to manually configure the plugin.
-
> adamsmith Thanks for the response. No, I don't even see the toolbar. I simply don't have anything working despite having the plugin installed.
-
What more should I provide? I'm not receiving any error message, but the LibreOffice Integration plugin is simply not functioning. It used to automatically detect LibreOffice on the system, but now it's not doing that and I don't even see a way to…
-
Well, I simply can't do anything with LibreOffice plugin. I can't configure the plugin to recognize LibreOffice under the Zotero preferences. LibreOffice of course does not show the Zotero toolbar. The plugin does not show up on the LibreOffice exte…
