I am having the same issue - I am using a variety of databases in APA and Zotero will only save articles as a web page with or without a snapshot. Yikes! I am trying not to panic.

I am not able to extract any metadata from any of the database articles I am using - regardless of the database, no metadata is being caught. I am in a real quandry. Zotero is my academic right hand man! Yikes!
